Chemotherapy is the use of anti-cancer drugs to destroy or shrink cancer cells. The drugs work by disrupting the growth of the cancer cells. Chemotherapy sometimes works and controls the malignant growth of mesothelioma. Chemotherapy helps to increase the survival rate for few more years, but it does not cure properly and cannot save patient life. It just provides symptomatic treatment to the patient.

Side effects of Chemotherapy Drugs: Chemotherapy Drugs usually kill malignant cells but it also kills the normal cells of the body. These cells destroy the bone marrow thus reduces the blood count level in the body and generates lot of symptoms in the body.
